I made FeedJoiner with one goal! one feed to join them all!
I simply needed an easy service that would allow me to aggregate various Rss streams in to one single Rss Feed
Surprisingly it didn't take long to build the "aggregating part" of FeedJoiner (approx 100 lines of code) and I got inspired to implement more features like search, filters, tags and some basic analytics.
These new features and enhancements allow me to filter god from bad...
or at least make a try ;)
and see how many people use the service from a day to day basis ;)
Please welcome the new and, hopefully, more user friendly look that FeedJoiner now has gotten.
Well it's probably not flawless but hey, we all need to start somewhere and compared with the previous "layout" (more like a mock-up thing) this is a huge step in the "more user friendly" direction!
If you don't like the new look please let me know and I'll see what my limited UI skills can do about it :)
There are now even more ways you can combine filter and limit the posts within the join's you make.
You can now set a count that tells FeedJoiner the maximum numbers of posts, that should requested from the Rss source.
Filter the Rss source by Tag or Search, before adding it to the join.
